Motherhood is hard. Yet so rewarding & a journey like none other. When I look at my friend Heidi, I see how her heart just yearns to love, inspire & lead her littles. Each week I see her do just that. When I look at the below photo I think of the verse in Proverbs that says “Her children arise & called her blessed.”

Heidi, my friend, you’re an amazing mom. Because the Lord enables you to be. I love you!

Here’s the details!

Saturday, June 11
If for some reason there is bad weather, we will have your session you signed up for on Sunday, June 12 at the same time you signed up for on June 11.
Families with up to 6 members ($10.00 per additional family member after 6 members) is $100.00
Siblings with up to 4 members are $75.00 ($10.00 per additional sibling after 4 siblings)
Location is Fairview Park in Normal
Family sessions will receive a total of 15-20 images. Sibling sessions will receive 10-15.
All images will be delivered within 3 weeks of the session via a link to an online gallery where they can be downloaded & printed wherever you choose.
Print Release is included.
This session does not allow for outfit changes.

If you’re like me & love to plan ahead, here is the list of Mini Sessions I’ll be offering in 2016 & a few of their dates! As we get closer to the mini’s in the later part of the year, I’ll update with their set dates as well.

Last year, I posted a survey to see what my clients were most interested in mini sessions wise. Because of the responses, I’ve added a few mini sessions that I think A LOT of people will be excited about (hint, think Christmas!) & am simplifying what I’m offering this year compared to last year. Can we say hashtag mom life? 😉 All of my mini sessions are relationship based (like Mom & Me and Grandparents Day) & they will always continue to be so!

All mini session images are received via an online gallery. I’m also excited that I’ll be using an online sign-up system this year that will make life a lot easier for many of us 🙂 Again, #momlife

Mom, you’re important. Not just because you wipe all the runny noses & drive everyone here & there. Not just because you make birthdays magical & dancing in the kitchen so fun. And certainly not just because you give THE.BEST.HUGS & know exactly what to do when the tears are falling,

It’s because you give of yourself ALL.THE.TIME. Usually without thanks. You love until it hurts. And then keep on loving some more. And frankly, we couldn’t do life without you. Mom, YOU ARE LOVED. More then you know.

Mom & Me Mini Sessions with Nomi Photography are 15 minute mini photo sessions. Together with your mini me’s, we’ll laugh, play & hug while I snap away on my camera to deliver you 10-15 images you’ll reflect back on. When you’ve had a day with more temper tantrums then you’d care to have these are the type of images that will remind you that motherhood is more then worth it. Each session is $75.00 & covers 6 total people. After 6 individuals, there is a $10.00 cost per additional person. You will receive a few images via your email beforehand just in time for Mother’s Day to view. The remaining images & a print release will be delivered to you via an online gallery where you can download them & print them wherever you choose within 3 weeks of the session date.

I love fall! And I love taking pictures in the fall! And I know my clients love it as well 😉 Fall pictures hold a special place in my heart since Eric & I had our engagement pictures taken in the fall & just a few weekends ago, we had our maternity session done!

Here’s a few of my personal favorites from this year’s Fall Family Mini Sessions! I only have them once a year but they always book quickly & I like having two days available so that I was able to connect with more families. I’m already looking forward to next year & toying around with the idea of doing Spring Family Mini’s after I’m back from my maternity leave 😉 It’s not a set thing but if that interests you, make sure you let me know!

I’m EXCITED about my LAST mini sessions of the year!!! Fall Family Mini’s will be October 9 & 10!

Now before I go any further- please note these sessions go FAST. Like crazy fast. If you want one, please email me asap. I will be scheduling them on a first come, first serve basis. So whoever emails me first gets the first slot!

If you noticed, I AM having my Fall Mini’s spread out into two different days, Friday afternoon & early evening & then on Saturday as well. I will be even farther into my pregnancy then & I need to space myself a little 😉 But I also want to allow for as many of my clients as possible to take advantage of these, thus the two day window 🙂

Here’s the details!

Family’s with up to 6 members ($10.00 per additional family member after 6 members) is $75.00
***NEW for 2015*** For EVERY family you refer to me (so someone I have not worked with before), & they book a Fall Family Mini, you will receive $5.00 off your session. I will honor that up to 5 families- so you could save $25.00 of your session!!! When scheduling their session they need to mention that you referred them to me 🙂 *Their session cannot be canceled & must happen for you to receive the credit 😉
Location is Ewing Park III (where I had them last year & also known as Jersey Hill). I’ve reserved 20 minutes per family/session to have a fun interactive short session. I will be scheduling sessions back to back with short breaks in between.
You will receive a total of 15-20 images.
All images will be delivered within 3 weeks of the session (plenty of time to order Christmas Cards!) via a link to an online gallery where they can be downloaded & printed where you choose.
Print Release is included.
This session does not allow for outfit changes.
If for some reason it rains either day, I will work out with each client a time to reschedule on Sunday, October 11.

Grandparents Day Mini Sessions!

My parents are super excited about becoming grandparents 😉 It’s really a fun thing to watch & Little Wilcox isn’t even here yet! Being a grandparent is a special thing. And I’m EXCITED about this! For the first time EVER I’m having a mini session for grandparents & their grandkids!!!!

Who’s always asking for pictures of your children? Who’s always calling & asking to see your kids? Grandma & Grandpa of course!!! And what better way to fill their hearts then gift them (maybe an early Christmas gift??) with a Grandparents Day Mini Session!

Or grandparents, maybe this is something that YOU’LL want to organize! Take the grandkids out for the evening, come have a short photo session with me & then go out for ice cream later! This is a perfect, fun evening to have! Plus, Grandparents Day is September 13 & you can have not only pictures OF your grandkids, but you WITH them!

Here’s the details!

The day for Grandparents Day Mini Sessions will be Saturday, September 12. They will start late afternoon & go into early evening. I’ve reserved 20 minutes per family/session to have a fun interactive short session. I will be scheduling sessions back to back with short breaks in between & they will be held at Ewing Park III (if you’ve had a session with me at this location, don’t worry, there’s plenty of areas I’ll be using ;-)).

Back-to-School 2015 Mini Session Recap!

I love families that homeschool. Seriously. I haven’t photographed one family that I didn’t want to just go hangout with after their session happened.

And maybe it’s because when I meet them, we already know we have something in common- homeschooling. I was homeschooled, my husband was & we plan to with our family in the future. Homeschooling isn’t for everyone. But these families make it look good!

I’m sharing just a few images from my Back-to-School Mini’s I had this past July for homeschooling families in the area. One family drove over an hour to meet up! Totally blew me away! And I’m sharing just a few favorites since I know some of these families are saving theirs for Christmas Cards 😉

This guy send me & his family into quite a fit of giggles when we found out about a secret he’d been keeping 😉

Sister Sister Mini Sessions in 2015

My sister is my best friend. Hands down. (PS That picture above was 7 years ago!) Aside from my husband, she gets me like no one else. We’re four years apart & yet people still sometimes think we’re twins. We quote old movies lines to each. She sends me tons of texts a day that crack me up (she’s got a funny sense of humor). And she always hated it when I’d crawl into bed with her & try to snuggle 😉

I’m 29 & she’s 25. She’s going to be an aunt soon & I still like having our girl movie nights. We’ve grown up as different women, but thankfully, we’re closer then before.

And, may I ask a question? When was the last time you had a picture taken with your sister? When was the last time you & your sissy or sisters had some good ol’ quality time? When was the last time you all chatted & reflected on the treasured friendship you share?

I want you to have that opportunity. Either to spend it with your sister, sisters or even someone who is like a sister to you…to spend it together & have some amazing photo’s taken together.

This mini session will be a short photography session on Saturday, August 29, where you & your sister, sisters or someone who’s like a sister to you, can come laugh & reflect on growing up together. And hey, you may not have always liked each other 😉 I’d love to hear THOSE stories too 😉

This 20 minute photo session will take place at an outdoor location in Bloomington-Normal & is $60.00 for 2-3 sisters (additional ladies after 3, may be added at $10.00 a piece). And it’s for ALL ages! Babies, toddlers or even 80 year olds! You will receive a 10-15 images & a wonderful memory to share! All images will be delivered within 3 weeks of the session via a link to an online gallery where they can be downloaded & printed where you choose. Print Release is also included. Last year, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed getting to meet & connect with fellow homeschooling families in the Bloomington-Normal area! If you didn’t know, my parents homeschooled me & my three siblings & my husband was also homeschooled! I’m very passionate about education at home & Eric & I hope to do the same with our future children.

I wanted to give local homeschooling families the opportunity to be able to have their children have their own “Back-to-School” pictures 🙂 Every year of homeschooling is a milestone! And capturing your children & family at this time, is a joy of mine.

Because I know how challenging it can be to make time in a family’s calendar for pictures, I wanted to leave opportunity in case the entire family wanted to have pictures & not just each individual child!

Therefore I am offering two types of packages for the Back-to-School Mini Sessions:

Individual Student Session:
First Child – 2-4 Images | $30.00
If you have more then one child-great! After your first child, it’s just $20.00 per additional child.
Session will take 10 minutes.

Family Session:
Family’s up to 6 members ($10.00 per additional family member after 6 members) 5-10 Images | $60.00
Session will take 15 minutes.
